Jammu, May 25 (KNO): In what could be a serious cause of concern for security agencies, a “spy pigeon” was captured by some locals near International Border in Kathua district of Jammu. Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that that today morning, some locals working in their fields near International Border in Kathua district noticed a pigeon with a ring fixed in its foot. "The locals managed to capture the bird which was later handed over to police,” an official said. “Some numbers were written on the ring which has attracted attention of all the intelligence agencies.” Senior Superintendent of Police in Kathua district, Shailendra Mishra while confirming the incident said that, "We don't know from where from it came. Locals captured it near our fences. We have found a ring in its foot on which some numbers are written. We are investigating the matter."—(KNO)
